Contract View
A person-centric view of the schedule showing each team member and their shifts.
Overview
The contract view organises the schedule by person rather than by time. Each row represents a team member (contract), with their shifts shown across the week. It's useful for checking individual workloads, spotting who has too many or too few shifts, and ensuring coverage aligns with contracted hours.
Reading the view
Each row shows:
- Person name and contracted workload percentage
- Shifts laid out day by day across the row
- Conflict indicators if a person has overlapping shifts on a given day
Rows without any shifts for the week are still shown so you can spot unscheduled team members at a glance.
Adding shifts from this view
Click any empty cell in a person's row to create a shift already assigned to that person. The shift drawer opens with them pre-selected.
Filters
Use the filter bar to narrow the view by competency. This is helpful for larger teams where you want to focus on one role at a time. See Filters & settings.
How it relates to contracts
A person appears in this view because they have an active contract on the team. Contracts define the person's role, working hours, and rate. See People & contracts for how to manage them.
Competency colours
Each shift is colour-coded by competency so you can quickly identify the role covered at each position. See Competencies for how competencies are set up.
