Settings

An overview of the settings available in Plantime.

Organisation settings

Organisation-level settings apply across your entire Plantime account. Find them under Settings in the main navigation.

General

  • Organisation name — the name shown across the platform
  • Timezone — all shift times are displayed in this timezone; set it to your local timezone before creating any shifts
  • Locale — controls date and number formatting

Teams

Manage the teams within your organisation. Each team has its own planner, people, and schedule. You can create multiple teams for different departments, locations, or units.

Competencies

Create and manage the competencies (roles/skills) used across your organisation. See Competencies for details.

Leave types

Configure the leave categories available to your team — for example, annual leave, sick leave, and public holidays. Leave types are selected when a worker submits a leave request.

Team settings

Team-level settings apply to a specific team and are found in Team → Settings.

Team name and details

Update the team name and any descriptive information.

Scheduling period

Set the current planning period for the team — the date range you're actively scheduling. See Scheduling periods.

Notifications

Control which events trigger notifications for managers and workers on this team.

Profile settings

Your personal profile settings — name, email, and password — are managed under the user menu in the top right corner.
