Set the days and hours a team is expected to operate.

Team opening hours

Opening hours define when a team normally operates. Plantime uses them as the boundaries for scheduling and planning defaults.

Set opening hours before building schedules so managers do not create shifts outside the team's normal operating window by accident.

When to update them

Update opening hours when a team changes location hours, starts or stops weekend work, or adds seasonal operating periods.

If only one person has a different working pattern, update that person's contract instead of changing the whole team's opening hours.

Scheduling impact

Opening hours help keep the planner focused on the time range that matters. They also provide useful context for Auto Schedule and schedule review.
